The Independent Colleges & Universities of Florida (ICUF) is a diverse association of 28 private, not-for-profit, educational institutions all based in Florida and accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges & Schools (SACS). We serve more than 120,000 students at over 180 sites around Florida. We offer programs at the main campuses, at satellite sites in communities and at community colleges. The ICUF Presidential Fellows program is a grassroots student advocacy group that trains and engages campus leaders during the academic year to boost ICUF’s impact in Tallahassee. FICF a not-for-profit organization that works closely with the Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida (ICUF) to provide opportunities for ICUF institutions to expand access to students from all backgrounds. Untie the Right Brain is a right-minded strategy to untie the right brain of teachers, their colleagues and future teachers, transforming them into catalytic teachers, equipped to energize their students and boost their performance. Democracy’s Laboratory delivers professional development to teachers teaching two special populations of students in high-need classrooms – English Language Learners and Students with Disabilities. The Multimedia E-library is a web-based virtual learning portal that features self-paced learning curricula with topics that include general K-12 teacher education, space science, basic electricity, biotechnology, technical mathematics, cryogenics, Florida history and many other subjects.
